I’ve been reading Adler’s How to Read a Book. It is a superlative guide, but it struck me that his approach is inherently limited - ironically - by being ... a book.
The core concepts therein could be incredibly useful to young children and adults who are building their literacy skills. However, in an era dominated by smartphones and video-driven content, picking up a heavy text can be daunting.
To bridge that gap, I designed this poster inspired by Adler’s work to share with NGOs and educators. This is a work in progress; I plan to adapt it into local languages, refine the wording, and potentially create additional visual tools to assist with teaching.
